Welcome to preschool! My name is Kaitlyn Wimble. I have been teaching preschool at WES since 2017.
As a senior in high school I had the opportunity to intern in the preschool program here at Waitsfield. It was during that time I decided I wanted to work with young children and went off to study early childhood education at UVM. I continued my partnership with WES during that time, and came back full circle after graduation.

Program Philosophy:
Our program is built around what we believe are children’s rights and needs. We are inspired by some components of the Reggio Emilia Philosophy as well as through child-centered observations. We are a play based program that values children’s interests as the main force that drives learning.
