Welcome to Ms. Vandal’s 3rd and 4th grade classroom!  

I have been teaching in the classroom at WES since 2024.  Before that, I have almost 20 years of teaching in both classroom and environmental education settings. I am thrilled to be a part of such a dedicated community of skilled and impassioned educators.

In my classroom, I work to support all learners where they are.  We establish a safe environment for students to challenge themselves, take healthy risks, and grow intellectually, emotionally, and academically.  We use the Responsive Classroom model and school-wide expectations to guide our social and emotional learning.
